When I Die

When I die—bury me,shoot me into space,

cast me into the deepest sea.

Why would I care? My body will return to the Earth and the universe—where it began.

Will I meet a God? I do not know. But I live my life

believing there is purpose woven through the cosmos,though I cannot name it,

nor would I try.

All I know is this:when I die,I hope to leave behind something worth holding—a memory, a fragment of love,in the hearts of those
